Years of combined craftsmanship behind every workshop we work with.

Our Story

Every grain tells
where it's been.

Village Crafts was founded on a simple belief — furniture should carry a story, not just fill a room.

We work directly with two family workshops — one in Kashmir, and one in Jodhpur — where techniques of weaving, joinery and finishing have been passed from hand to hand for generations. Fine pashmina mussars woven in Kashmir. Teak furniture jointed and finished in Jodhpur. Each piece is made and finished by hand — which means no two pieces ever leave the workshop quite the same.

Today, we bring that heritage to Oman: furniture built to be lived with, passed down, and noticed.

"A handmade piece is never really finished — it keeps aging, keeps telling its story."

Origins

Two workshops.
One journey to Oman.

Nothing in this collection is mass-produced. Every piece comes from one of two workshops we work with directly.

Mussars

Every mussar in our collection is woven in Srinagar — the fine pashmina wrap Omani men tie around the kuma, made using the same weaving traditions Kashmir has been known for, for generations.
